Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

Coffee Break UNMIL Radio’s flagship program on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 featured Augustine Tamba / President Federation of Liberian Youth who speaks on plans by the organization to launch a National Youth Manifesto 2017 ; Abdou Dieng (Dee-Yeng)-WFP’s Regional Director for Central and West provides updates on his four day visit to Liberia ; Solomon Reeves-President/Grand Bassa Liberia District Three Civil Organization in America highlights initiatives being undertaken by the organization in Grand Bassa County and Logan Campbell / Coordinator Special Project Congo Township speaks of efforts being carried to beautify the area.
