Dakar – The New Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for the Sahel, Mrs. Hiroute Guebre Sellassie, presented today in New York the Secretary-General report on the Sahel to the UN Security Council. She briefed its members on progress made towards the implementation of the United Nations Integrated Strategy the Sahel, and shared her impressions on the future direction of the UN regional efforts in the Sahel.
